Parent Governor

My son Zack started his Reception year at Hadrian School in 2021, since then I have been impressed and excited by all the opportunities to learn that he has been given. When the option to become a parent governor came up I saw it as an opportunity to become more involved in school life.

For the last 20years I have worked as a GP in South Tyneside and since 2010 part of my role has involved training and educating junior doctors. Clinically I have interest and lead my surgery in mental health and palliative care.

For the last few years I have volunteered as a medical advisor for the RNLI.

At home I also have a teenager that keeps me busy with washing and taxi services. When I get the chance I enjoy running and drinking nice coffee.

I look forward to becoming involved with the team over the coming years .
