Here at Hadrian School, our children have been very busy just like Santa’s little helpers – making their gifts and cards for loved ones at home. The last couple of weeks have been filled with Christmas cheer and lots of fun! We have had Christmas singing and dancing, Christmas jumper day with Christmas lunch, movie time, creating festive cards, cooking yummy cinnamon biscuits and making sensory paint calendars.  We went to Beamish on our Christmas trip.

There have been many highlights of this season, ‘The Hadrian School Nativity Extravaganza’ being one of them! It made us all feel extra proud of the children as they performed ‘Northern Lights’ for their friends and families in such a magical way… they are all stars for just being themselves!

At the end the week, at our Key Stage 2 Christmas party, we had a special visitor… the big man in red himself, Santa!! The children were very excited to see him and he gave all the children a gift to take home. After, we had a real good boogie at the Christmas party with – music, games and party treats!

We had a pantomime – Beauty and the Beast, and silly staff panto and a quiet end of term nativity.

Thank you to everyone for all of your support this term, we have loved laughing, smiling and having special moments with all of the children in class during this festive time. Have a wonderful Christmas, and all the very best for the New Year. Take care – we look forward to seeing you all next term. Loveday and Team xx
